To be in with the chance of winning, caterers and restaurants across the UK must simply share photos of their ‘most unique’ dishes with @jjfoodservice on social media, using the hashtag #JJBangingBurger, #JJCurryKing or #JJVeggyLeggy.
Following the success of its National Fish and Chip Day giveaway last year, the company is running three competitions this year to coincide with:
- National Burger Week (23 August)
- World Vegetarian Day (1 October
- National Curry Week (9 October)
Judges will choose the winners based on how ‘unique’ and ‘tasty looking’ the dishes are.
FOODit senior product nanager Paul Sharp said: “Last year, The Meriden Fish Bar (Watford) won with its quirky pea fritter. It has since launched its own website with us and sales keep going up.”
The Meriden Fish Bar manager, Bobbie, added: “Since getting our own website, we’ve been able to expand (our customer base) further out into Watford.
“We can serve people much quicker and manage the website totally independently.
“Our takeaway comes up higher on Google search engines which has really helped spread the word about our gluten-free offering.”
So remember, to enter, all you need to do is post your dish with the hashtag #JJBangingBurger, #JJCurryKing or #JJVeggyLeggy to JJ’s Facebook, Instagram or Twitter page. May the most unique and tasty dishes win!
