WiW Report To Help Market Wholesale Jobs to Women

WiW Report To Help Market Wholesale Jobs to Women

Women in Wholesale (WiW) has commissioned a report with research consultancy HIM to support manufacturers and wholesalers to attract more females into wholesale roles.

WiW Founder and Organiser, Elit Rowland, said: “One of the biggest challenges with recruitment in wholesale is attracting a diverse pipeline in the first place. Many manufacturers and wholesalers want more diverse teams but struggle to get the applicants.”

To address the challenge, WiW is partnering with HIM to conduct research, which will cover what key benefits attract women into jobs, what puts them off and how to retain workers in the longer term. The results will be presented in a free-of-charge actionable report, which will be launched at the WiW Speed Networking event, taking place on April 26th in London.

The event is being organised in response to 61% of WiW conference attendees saying they would like more formalised networking opportunities. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with industry peers and leaders while picking up key skills.

Confirmed mentors for the day include managers and directors from Parfetts, Bidfood, Coca Cola European Partners, Bestway, Country Range and Landmark Wholesale, among others.
