Organisers of Women in wholesale (WiW) have invested in offering ‘confidence coaching’ to individuals and businesses working in U.K. foodservice and grocery wholesale.

The WiW-funded sessions are designed to give individuals the skills they need to boost their careers and prospects.

Qualified Confidence Coach and WiW Chair, Clare Bocking, has completed sessions with individuals from Country Range Group and EFG Foodservice so far.

Emma Holden, Marketing Manager at Country Range said, “It’s so easy to move from one task to the next without really looking at where you want to be (and who you want to be) in five years’ time.

“The confidence coaching helped me to create an practical, actionable plan of how to focus on what I want and build my confidence in key areas – it was incredibly helpful and a totally unique experience.”

Fiona Spinks at EFG Foodservice said, “I was quite nervous as I hadn’t had any coaching before, but I found the session really helpful and encouraging. People you don’t know can sometimes see things you are blind to, so it was useful to have support in identify the ways that I was holding myself back.

Clare Bocking said, “It is a privilege being part of the learning process with such talented people. We are often our own worst enemies. Re-learning how to think to focus on positives and strengths can be transformational.”

WiW is currently working on a format to up-scale the coaching to groups.
